US$ 31.6 million
Contributions to RBSA totalled US$ 31.6 million in 2022-23.
47 countries
Over 47 countries currently benefit from interventions funded by RBSA.
Nine governments contribute to ILO core voluntary funding. This modality provides flexible, unearmarked contributions enabling the ILO to allocate resources there were they are needed most. The ILO’s Regular Budget Supplementary Account (RBSA) is a critical element of the ILO resource mix and represented US$ 31.6 million in 2022-23.
The unearmarked contributions enable to boost ILO’s country programme priorities in a variety of ways. RBSA interventions launch innovative initiatives; help to rapidly address emerging needs; expand the scope and/or scale of existing programmes; mainstream cross-cutting issues in labour policies and programmes; leverage greater funding from other sources and increase sustainability of ILO assistance through partnerships with UN agencies.
