Handbook on the employment of minors

A question - and - answer handbook on the employment of minor workers was developed within the framework of the ILO Project: Enhancing National Capacity to Prevent and Reduce Child Labour in Viet Nam (ENHANCE) with the Legal Department of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.

Along with the new provisions of the Labour Code 2019 in general and the employment of minors in particular, the handbook also provides additional information on two important ILO Conventions on child labour: the Minimum Age Convention, 1973 (No. 138) and the Worst Forms of Child Labour
Convention, 1999 (No. 182). It is expected that the Handbook will contribute to raising awareness and provide a useful reference source for government officials, employees, social partners, businesses, and the broader community.
