Leadership and management training for ILO staff in Eastern Europe and Central Asia

Director, specialists and programme officer of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia gathered to undertake leadership and management training in the context of multiple crises. The exercise served to enhance skills for effective teamwork and use of technologies that enable multi-stakeholder collaboration from various locations.

22-24 February 2023, TASHKENT – ILO conducted its programming meeting for the Decent Work Team and Country Office for Eastern Europe and Central Asia to discuss plans for 2023 and formulate strategy for 2024-2025. The team aimed to define a strategic vision for the office for the new biennium in the relevant technical areas considering the current challenges and opportunities.

Public Expenditure and Institutional Review of the Social Protection Sector in Tajikistan

In the context of challenging and constrained macro-fiscal environment, efforts of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to steadily increase public resource allocations for the social protection sector and provide social protection and social insurance services have been impressive. However, challenges in the social protection sector remain. Improving coordination of social protection and employment service delivery in Armenia and Tajikistan. Guide

The Guide aims to assist the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Tajikistan to build up integrated case management. Integrated case management is understood as an innovative practice which is employed collectively especially by respective agents of employment and social security to serve the most vulnerable with all available resources from both the labour market and the social protection system, and even beyond. The Guide recommends the setting up of integrated case management systems that are embedded in partnership structures.
