The ILO is seeking four Consultants to join the project team of the “Mainstreaming Employment into Trade and Investment in the Southern Neighbourhood” programme. Qualified persons who wish to be considered for these positions should send an email indicating the country they apply for (i.e., Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Jordan), including a short proposal on how to conduct the study, a cost estimate for the total assignment, together with a detailed CV describing their relevant experience for this position and their passport. Enabling success: Supporting Youth in MENA in their Transition from Learning to Decent Work
This report is a result of collaboration between the ILO and UNICEF, with expertise contribution from the European Training Foundation, and the technical work conducted by Legacy Social Development, as part of a joint effort to seek young people’s voices and inputs, along with other stakeholders’ suggestions, to find ways to address the bottlenecks hindering young people’s transition to the labour market.
Morocco strengthens its capacity on green jobs indicators
Officials from the High Commission for Planning (HCP) followed a workshop training on 20-22 March in Rabat, led by ILO, about green jobs statistics as part of an action plan for the measurement of green jobs in Morocco. The objective was to reinforce national capacities in statistics in the fields of environment and green jobs as the Government is investing in a greener and more inclusive growth path.
