The 2023 report underscores the transformative impact of Iraq’s DWCP, exemplifying collaborative efforts that align with national development frameworks. Achievements in job creation, private sector development, social protection, and labour governance showcase a commitment to realizing fundamental principles of decent work. This collaborative journey positions the ILO as a key partner in Iraq’s socio-economic development, fostering a path towards inclusive growth and decent livelihoods. Throughout 2023, significant milestones were attained by the ILO’s tripartite constituents, driven by the expert guidance and technical support provided by the ILO, all under the principal objectives and initiatives of the Decent Work Country Programme.
