An appraisal of EIIP’s longer-term development impacts

The Action Plan seeks to contribute to and support the acceleration of progress towards the achievement of the Agenda 2063 – SDG 8.7 target. The target population are children, women and men who are victims of or vulnerable to the forms of exploitation addressed by the Agenda 2063 - SDG 8.7 target.

Papua New Guinea Project Brief

This project brief describes the Employment-Intensive Recovery and Reconstruction Response (E3R) project to mitigate the impact of a series of 7.5 and a 6.7 magnitude that hit the Highlands of Papua New Guinea, between the 26 of February and 8 of March 2019. By using a local-resource based strategy, the ILO was able to assist successfully in the construction of gravity fed water supply systems and contribute to the transition towards livelihoods recovery.

Social protection in action: Exploring public options of social health protection for refugees in West and Central Africa

Since 2014, the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) have worked together in line with their respective mandates to strengthen access to decent work among refugees, especially as regards income generation and social protection.
