The DWCP for 2015-2017 has been developed in the context of implementation of the legislative frameworks in the field of labour market, employment and social protection, and is aimed at the sustainable socio-economic development of the country, on the basis of labour relations regulation in line with international labour standards, stimulation of productive employment, insurance of social protection of population and further promotion of social dialogue.

The development objective of the project is to improve employment opportunities, working conditions and social protection of women and men, by contributing to the implementation of DWCPs in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The project is supported by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland.

Cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the ILO with the following national priorities: 1. Increasing capacity of tripartite constituents to manage and regulate priority labour issues through social dialogue; 2. Improving occupational safety and health systems in Central Asia
The project adddresses the urgent need for international support to the Central Asian countries in the endeavour to reinforce the national systems and programmes on occupational safety and health (OSH), particularly in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. This support is needed to systematically improve the working conditions and environment.
